General Policies:

The term “Host” applies to you, the event Booker. The term “Instructor” applies to The Golden Easel employee.

Deposit 

A deposit of $50 is due in order for your event to be booked. Your event is NOT booked until a deposit is made. Your deposit goes towards the total for your event & deducted from your event balance. Any event cancelled within 48hrs of your scheduled event date is Non-Refundable but transferable.

 Cancelation

Events cancelled due to legitimate emergencies (Medical/Family), changes in State laws/orders, or Natural disaster will be credited and available to use to book a future event date of equal or lesser value to the event which was cancelled.

Out Of State Events

The Golden Easel is a mobile & virtual paint experience, however we do offer large themed event hosting in-person, limited to the Tri-State Area. Events that require the Instructor to travel & stay outside of that area, &/or overnight are added to the cost of your event, & must be paid in full one week prior to your event. The Instructor will not drive over 4hrs (one way). Travel over that time will require that a flight be booked at your expense. The Instructor cannot be booked to stay at any Motel, Hostel, Owner occupied BNB, Room for Rent location, or Private residence.

Payment 

The balance for your event is to be paid in full at least 24hrs prior to the start of your event if you are using a form of digital currency. Cash payments must be discussed prior to event date. In the event that cash is provided, the balance must be paid in full upon the Instructors arrival. Guest can not pay the instructor, payments must be collected by host.

Late Start

Your event time cannot be changed, or altered the day of your event. In the event that your event is running behind for reasons unrelated to the Instructor, a courtesy window of 30 minutes will be granted. After that time has elapsed the Instructor will start your event. If you wish for the Instructor to delay further, a fee of $30 will be added to your event balance, & added again at the top of every hour that the Instructor delays the start of your event.

Accessibility

It is your designated responsibility for all facets of your event if hosted at a 3rd party location. The Golden Easel Instructor is only responsible for the Paint portion of your event.

Please make sure that our Instructor has access to the event venue (Business or Private) at least 1hr prior to your event, & that someone will be on-site to assist with venue navigation, power sources, & access to running water. Venue staff or Host set designees are responsible for the setup & arrangement of tables & chairs for your event. Any delays to your event due to venue staff/Host designees are not exempt from the policy rule relating to delaying your event, as this is not at the fault of the Instructor.

 

Virtual Events:

Booking

Virtual Paint Parties must be booked at a minimum of two week prior to the event date. You are responsible for indicating your Time Zone when scheduling an event. The Golden Easel operates on EST. Once the event link is created, it will be provided to the Host. It is then their responsibility to ensure that all of their attendees have the link.

Shipping

The Golden Easel is not responsible for packages delayed, lost, or delivered to the wrong address via USPS or UPS. In the event that your package arrives damaged, we ask that you provide photos to be submitted. Tracking numbers for packages are emailed to the registered email provided when purchase is made. It is his/her responsibility to track delivery of packages.

Inspect your ‘Art Box’ immediately upon receipt. In the event that you have missing or damaged content, please notify The Golden Easel immediately.

 The Golden Easel is not responsible for addresses that are input incorrectly. The Host &/or their Attendees will enter their own addresses when ordering. The Golden Easel transfers your input data to a mail label. Any errors on your part are not the responsibility of The Golden Easel. Please contact us as soon as you notice or suspect an error in the entry of your address so we can make changes to ensure that our order is delivered.

 Curb Side Pick Up

Local ‘Art Box’ pickups and deliveries will be given a designated pick up time that the Attendee or Host will choose. Missing this time may result in delays. Paint Boxes’ distributed by the event Host are not the responsibility of The Golden Easel.

Re Scheduling

There is a reschedule fee of $50 for all Virtual events. All Art Boxes are Final Sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If your event is canceled because the minimum headcount was not met, attendees will not be refunded. your profit from the sale will be forwarded to you.

Golden Easel/ Black Easel  PUBLIC Events:

Tickets

Events with table assignments are strictly monitored & enforced. Please make sure that all people you are attending an event with, all have the same type of ticket. No one with a General Admission ticket will be seated at a VIP table.

 No one without a ticket will be admitted into the venue. Tickets are only available for the time in which they are available. Once a ticket type or tickets in general are sold out, it is at the strict discretion of The Golden Easel whether or not to add new tickets. This decision is based strictly upon space availability & current State guidelines.

Covid-19 Safety & Security  

All persons attending a Golden Easel event are subject to Security screening & Temperature check. The maximum allowable temperature for admittance is 100.5°. Any person with a temperature over that will sent home & issued a full refund within 48hrs of the event via their originally used method of payment. In the event that you purchased your ticket via a 3rd party, the refund will be issued to that party, whom is then responsible for refunding you.

All persons attending Golden Easel events are required to wear a face mask for entry. All masks must meet the standard that it covers both your nose, mouth, & can be attached to your face without you holding it in place by hand. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Masks may be removed once seated inside of the venue, but will be required when moving around the venue, in bathrooms, interacting directly with the Hostess/Host, interacting with Performers, & interacting with Venue staff.

 

NOTE: For all policy rules the name “The Golden Easel” also applies to “The Black Easel.” The Golden Easel is represented by the law firm of ‘Mattleman, Weinroth, & Miller’ for all legal matters.
